Emily Harris is the Owner and Director of Smithfield Dance Academy. Emily started dancing in her hometown of Smithfield, NC at the age of three and immediately fell in love with all things dance related. She has continued to study tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics and gymnastics for over 20 years. It is her desire to provide you with excellent results in a family-friendly, fun, professional atmosphere. Emily has taught dance and acrobatics to children of all ages. Now at Smithfield Dance Academy, Emily looks forward to teaching many more children to share her love of dance! Emily wants to ensure you that at SDA, your children are in a nurturing, rewarding, and healthy extra-curricular activity.

Our Studio
Our beautiful, spacious studio is in the old Roberts & Wellons Building in downtown Smithfield. SDA is directly behind the Public Library of Smithfield and Johnston County. Two dedicated parking lots make drop off and pick up a breeze! Check out studio and class pictures on the News page.
