Smithfield Dance Academy (SDA) specializes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and acrobatics for students age 2-18. We are committed to providing quality dance training and classical technique while encouraging each student to work to his or her highest potential.
At Smithfield Dance Academy your child will receive an education in the art of dance, teaching them invaluable life skills. All classes are taught expecting focus, persistence, determination, teamwork, discipline and respect from students. All dance classes are open to parents. We want you to feel welcome to share in your child’s dance education.
Even if your child does not end up with a career in dance, you can be sure that the skills they have learned in dance class will aid in every other area of their lives. Dedicated dance students are usually very good academic students as well. Dancing on stage gives students the ability to perform with confidence in situations where they may otherwise be nervous, such as walking into an important job interview or making a speech in public.
Dance and acrobatics classes at Smithfield Dance Academy afford the opportunity for students to gain strength, coordination, poise, confidence and flexibility while learning an appreciation for dance and music.
